In the summer of 2001, an expedition from Burpee Museum discovered pieces of fossilized dinosaur bone weathering out from the side of a butte in southeastern Montana. Over the next two years, the team uncovered, mapped, and identified the bones of this dinosaur, which they nicknamed Jane.
